Newsletter 10-19-2018

We have completed a significant amount of research related to the spiraling costs of our sewer utility.  Below is the email sent to the West Wildwood Borough with the attached charts to highlight the issue   ( click here to view  charts –> Sewer Utility Discussions 10-19-2018 ).  The primary cause of the increased cost is water intrusion into the sanitary sewer system due to the tidal flooding.  The goal is to elevate the issue with the Town leaders and get action to correct the problem that has been costing us for a number of years.  We will publish any feedback and the minutes of the next Borough meeting to keep you informed.  It would be great if we can get as many members as possible to attend the meeting on November 2nd to provide support.

Donna and Chris,
Members of the CTWW Advisory Council were trying to set up a meeting to discuss the out of control costs for the Sewer Utility.  We realize that Chris Ridings will be on leave of absence for a while so in lieu of a meeting we are forwarding the attached briefing charts that frames the issue and requests feedback on the Borough action plans to correct the Inflow and Intrusion issues that drive the cost.  Please review the attached charts and be prepared for questions at the next Borough meeting on November 2nd.  I will not be able to attend that meeting however other board members will be prepared for discussions.  If you have any questions prior to October 26 don’t hesitate to contact me.
